Come out and join the Col. E. T. Stackhouse Camp 1576 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans as they pay tribute to the soldiers the bravely fought over 150 years ago. These men and women both young and old made great sacrifices as they fought for state’s rights. Many from what is now Dillon County (Marion County 150 years ago) left home without hesitation even though the odds were not in their favor. We will have a musket volley and a mortar volley at the end of the ceremony. Join them on October 26th at 3 p.m. at the Veterans Park in Latta as we give these brave men and women the respect and honor they so deserve. (Contributed Photo)
