Dillon – Carolyn Collins McRae Jackson, 72, died at her residence, Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel with entombment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. prior to the service at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Marion County, SC, February 12, 1942, the daughter of the late Neal Clardy and Reba Lee Shaw Collins. She worked many years as a School Teacher for Dillon County School District Three and Department of Social Services. Carolyn graduated from Francis Marion University with a Masters in English Studies and Psychology. She was a member of Tranquil Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, especially in Europe.

She is survived by her husband, Lynn Jackson of the home; daughter, Candace Everett (David) of Statham, GA ; brothers, Charles Collins (Christa) of Marion, SC, Ronald Collins of Mullins, SC; sisters, Donna Massey (Kinny) of Conway, SC, Annette Carter of Mullins, SC; and grandson, Sean Everett. She was predeceased by her daughter, Renee Foster; brothers, Ray and Frank Collins; sisters, Margaret C. Richardson, and Jean C. Carter.
