The Palmetto Award was presented to Stacy Fore of Dillon County E-911 in recognition of the exceptional professionalism in the field of emergency communications.
This particular award acknowledges the special contributions of those whose daily performance of their duties is an inspiration and example to others in the field of emergency telecommunications.
This award was presented to Stacy Fore at the NENA chapter. She has been employed with the Dillon County E-911 Telecommunications Center since October 2003, but has years of prior dispatch and telecommunications experience in the field.
“We are proud of such an accomplishment by one of our very own, and the citizens of Dillon County should feel comfortable knowing that there is always a voice of reason in their time of need. She is indeed an ‘everyday hero,’” said E-911 Director Clarence “Sonny” McRae.
