The Latta Vikings earned a 69-44 win over East Clarendon on the road on Thursday night in boys varsity basketball action.

Diez Mungro lead the Vikings with a team-high 15 points. Hall added nine points and Braddy and McGirt each added eight, with Porter and McAllister each adding six. Bimery scored five; Williamson, 4; McFadden, 4; Balke, 2; Davonta Porter, 1; and Cook, 1.

East Clarendon’s T. Burgess led the Wolverins with a game-high 16 points. Benjamin added seven points; Burgess, 4; Fulmore, 4; Rhodes, 3; White, 3; Whitehead, 3; McFadden, 3; and Hughes, 3.

On Friday night, the Vikings hosted Mullins but fell 86-81. Jalek Felton led the Auctioneers with 21 points in the win.

Latta now holds a 1-2 record as the season gets underway. The Vikings will host East Clarendon this Thursday, December 11, at 6:00 p.m. and will travel to face Mullins on Friday, December 12. Make plans to attend to support our local team!
