Dillon Christian School’s Lady Warriors fell 48-18 to the Lady Titans of Trinity-Byrnes on Tuesday night in varsity basketball action.

The Titans took a 20-4 lead in the first quarter and dominated the rest of the game, leading 31-10 at the end of the first half and outscoring the Warriors 17-8 in the second half.

Samantha Carpenter had eight points to lead Dillon Christian and Jamie Carpenter added six in the effort. Madison King added three points and Erin Hamer earned one point for the Warriors.

Katherine Farrell lead all scorers with a game-high 16 points for Trinity-Byrnes and Ayshia Scott added 11. Hertzog added six points for the Titans; A. Scott, 5; Price, 4; Frances, 2; A. Goodson, 2; and B. Goodson, 2.

Trinity-Byrnes improved to 4-3 with the win while the Warriors slipped to 0-4.

The Lady Warriors will travel to Williamsburg Academy this Friday, December 12, and will be back at home on Monday, December 15 to host Robert E. Lee Academy. Junior varsity action begins at 4:00 p.m. with varsity action beginning after. Make plans to attend!
