Three councilmen took the oath of office, a new chairman was elected, and the county administrator’s contract was approved.
Harold Moody was sworn in for another term. Robbie Coward and Stevie Grice were sworn in as new councilmen.
T.F. ” Buzzy” Finklea was elected chairman. Archie Scott was elected vice-chairman.
County Administrator Clay Young’s new contract was approved for two years.
