Priscilla Madeline Floria Douglas, 75, died Sunday, January 4, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center of Florence. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, January 9, 2015, and 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Priscilla was born December 22, 1939 in Kent County, Michigan, the daughter of the late Bradley J. and Amelia Sleesman Bennett. She was a proprietor of Northern Portage Lodge of Dalton, Canada for forty years. She was a loving mother and grandmother with a love for the outdoors and nature. She was of the Christian Faith.
Priscilla is survived by her husband, Michael W. Douglas of Livonia, Michigan; sons, Robert Sobleskey (June), William Sobleskey (Carol), David Sobleskey, Steven Sobleskey (Jane), and Scott Sobleskey (Rachel) all of Michigan, Michael Sobleskey (Huguette) of Wawa, Ontario Canada, and Charlie Floria (Tressa)of Dillon; daughter Carla Sundberg (Mark) of Michigan and Barbara Thorn (Brian) of Hawk Junction, Ontario Canada; 27 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Wade Bennett; and sisters, Elaine Soblesky, and Grace Mull. She was predeceased by her former husband Garth Floria, brothers Bradley and Emery Bennett; and sister, Luella Minnie Myers.
