Dillon’s Lady Wildcats dominated the court again on Tuesday night for a 72-15 win over the Lady Blue Jackets in Aynor in girls varsity basketball action.
Khamele Manning led the Wildcats with 16 points and five assists, and Kendra McLeod added 14 points in the win. Jelissa Fentzlaff earned 10 points and picked up 17 rebounds for the Wildcats, and Tejah Breeden grabbed 16 rebounds and added seven points. Adriana McCollum also added nine points in the win.
The Lady Wildcats improved to 12-2 overall and picked up their first conference win of the season for a 1-0 record in Region 8-2A.
Dillon, ranked second in the state in the latest South Carolina Basketball Coaches polls, will now face the top-ranked Mullins Auctioneers this Saturday at 6:00 p.m. in Dillon.
The Lady Aucs are 12-1 overall heading into the game and are coming off a 79-30 win over Waccamaw. Jaleah Lesane scored 22 points in the win.
