Carlyle Hodges, 81, of Angier, NC, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015. He was born December 15, 1933 in Dillon, SC to the late Eddie and Lula Hodges.
Carlyle was raised in Dillon, SC and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Following his time with the Army, Carlyle relocated to North Carolina. During his lifetime, he has enjoyed many interests, but fishing and cars were always his favorite. He was often found watching NASCAR or admiring cars, with a special interest in antique cars.
Fishing brought him peace, cars brought him excitement, a good game of pool brought him friends, but it was joy that he brought to all those that knew and loved him.

Ada Mae Cavenaugh of Dunn, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A private cremation ceremony was previously held. No other services are scheduled at this time.
