Services for James Carson Berry will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Melody Land Faith Chapel with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Berry, 62, died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after a battle with cancer.
Born in Dillon County, SC, November 18, 1952, he was the son of the late J.D. Berry and Loudallas Lane Tucker.  He was a member of Melody Land Faith Chapel.  
He was previously married to Bonnie Cain Berry Hubbard for ten years.
Survivors include his wife of 29 1/2 years, Mabel J. Berry; his son, Jamie C. Berry; daughters, Kathy B. Phillips (Jamie), Jessica D. Berry (Mark) and Crystal B. DeJarnette (Joe); brothers, Don Berry (Vickie) of Concord, NC, Billy Wilkes of Latta, Wayne Wilkes (Pam) of Latta, sister, Margaret Williams of Bennettsville, SC; grandchildren, Cortney L. Phillips, Ashley D. Phillips, Kalee A. Phillips, Roland R. McCormick, and Nolan C. McCormick, all of Dillon.
Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Odom; brother, Jimmy Wilkes; and granddaughter, Elizabeth M. DeJarnette.
