The Dillon Wildcats fell 4-0 to the Waccamaw Warriors on the road on Tuesday.

The Warriors picked up one runner in the bottom of the first and three more in the second, holding off the Wildcats for the win.

Tucker Perry earned the win on the mound, striking out eight, and Blake Deese took the loss for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats had four hits and one error in the effort, with John Mitchell Carter going 2-for-2 at bat. Patrick Herring went 1-for-3 for a double, and Kaleb Page went 1-for-3.

For Waccamaw, Levi Almond was 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI; Will Golden was 1-for-2 and drew a walk with one RBI; Daniel Rourk went 2-for-3 with one run scored; and Forrest Powell was 2-for-3 with one RBI. The Warriors had 10 hits and one error in the win.

The Wildcats are 5-4 in the regular season and are now 4-1 in Region 8-2A.

Dillon is scheduled to return to action at Loris next Tuesday, April 7, and will be at East Clarendon on Thursday with game times set for 6:30 p.m.
