SUMMER READING AT THE LATTA LIBRARY—The summer reading program is underway at the Latta Library.  Tuesday’s guest was Latta Police Chief Crystal Moore.  She read the children three books:  one about a duck, “Luke Goes To Bat,” and “Amelia Bedelia 4 Mayor.”  She also talked to the children about the importance of staying in school and making good grades.  The theme of this year’s summer reading program is “Every Hero Has A Story.”  (Photos by Betsy Finklea/The Dillon Herald)
