Services for Laurie Wyche Allen were held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Latta Baptist Church with burial in Magnolia Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  
Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Allen, 54, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at his residence.
Born in Dillon, SC, September 13, 1960, he was the son of Jack Lafon Allen and Mabel Hatchell Allen.  
He was an active member of Latta Baptist Church where he was involved in various roles.  He was also a member of the Lions Club, the Masonic Lodge, the Pineland Grange 549, and the Oak Grove Crime Watch.  Laurie was employed by United Life Insurance Company of America, and was a college graduate of Clemson University.
Survivors include his parents, Jack Lafon Allen and Mabel Hatchell Allen of Latta; brother, Lafon Hatchell   Allen (Billie Ann) of Latta; and his nephew, Hunter Allen of Latta.
