Ms. Lisa Nelson has been selected as Paraprofessional of the Year at East Elementary School  She is beginning her fifteen year with Dillon School District Four. She began working in Lake View in 1999. She was a floating paraprofessional for 3 years and a 5K paraprofessional for 7 years.  
She then moved to East Elementary where she has been working with 4K for 5 years.
Ms. Nelson loves working with children and hopes to instill the love of learning in every student.  
She has two children, Jeffery and Allison, and a sweet granddaughter named Candice.
