Mr. Thomas Kade Berry died Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at McLeod Medical Center of Dillon after an illness.
A funeral service was Friday, October 16, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Kemper Baptist Church of Lake View, with burial to follow at the church cemetery.  The family received friends Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.
Mr. Berry was born December 30, 1934 in Dillon County, the son of the late Marion and Nellie Lock Berry. He retired after 33 years from the SC State Highway Dept.  He was a member of Kemper Baptist Church and the Kemper Men’s Sunday School Class.
Mr. Berry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lois Davis Berry of the home; sons, Thomas Ray Berry (Kathy) and Russell Kade Berry, both of Lake View; daughter, Addie Marie DiRocco of Lake View; brother, John D. Berry (Frances) of Dillon; Sisters, Suzanne Brown of Mullins, Joanne McPhatter of Wilmington, and Betty Ford of Dillon; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a special friend, Danny Ellis.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Berry, Wiley Berry, Marion Berry, Jr., and Frank Berry; and sisters, Mildred Whisonant, Irene Wilkes, and Louine Ward.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kemper Baptist Church.
