Memorial services for  Joseph Timothy Townsend were  held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at New Life Worship Center.
Mr. Townsend, 56, died Friday, November 6, 2015 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, August 19, 1959, he was the son of the late Joseph Townsend and Mayola Hayes Townsend.
Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Townsend of Lumberton, NC; son, Corey Pate of Marion; 3 grandchildren; brothers, Mark Townsend, Charles Michael Towsend, and William Townsend, all of Dillon; sisters, Carolyn Faye Brown of Fayetteville, NC, Lori Ann Cook of Dillon, and Brenda Lee Nobles of Lake View.
