Mr. Jimmy Flowers died Sunday, January 10, 2016 at his home in Lake View SC, after an illness.
A funeral service will be Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm Kemper Baptist Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.
Mr. Flowers was born in Dillon County, the son of the late Calvin and Sadie Faulk Flowers.  He was a dedicated member of Kemper Baptist Church, a veteran of the Army and a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Flowers is survived by his wife, Darnell Flowers; brothers, Buddy Flowers (Sandra) and Gene Flowers (Frances); sisters, Shirley Campbell (Heith) and Lucille Rouse, sister in law, Nellie Flowers.
Mr. Flowers was preceded in death by his brother, Delane Flowers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Kemper Baptist Church or Hospice Care of South Carolina.
