Services for Staff Sergeant Kodi Cameron Tyler will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Union Baptist Church directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  Burial with full millitary honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Florence National Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Tyler, 29, died Friday, January 8, 2016 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, November 17, 1986, he was the son of Cameron Tyler and Normie Grice Christian.  He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran, and was a Purple Heart Recipient.
Survivors include his wife, Kami Tyler of Latta; step-son, Kaidon Roberts; daughter, Kenzie Tyler; mother, Normie (Reggie) Christian of Sellers; father, Cameron (Denise) Tyler of Latta; sister, Crystal (Eric) Buchanan of Apex, NC; nieces, Bristol and Cheyanne Buchanan.
