Mrs. Evelyn Page Smith died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at her home in Lake View SC after an illness.
 
A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Lake View with burial to follow at Lake View Cemetery, directed by Cooke Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday at 2:00 pm at the church prior to the funeral.
 
Mrs. Smith was born in Dillon County, the daughter of the late Boston Page, Sr. and Nellie Mae Thompson Page.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake View.
 
Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, Freddie Ray Smith; daughters, Malinda Kay Fox and Jenny Marie Curtis (John); brothers, Boston Page, Jr (Margaret) and D. L. Page (Linda); sisters, Nellie Miller (Jimmy Ray), Alice Jackson, and Pauline Johnson; grandchildren, Brooke Duckworth, Christina Duckworth, John Curtis, and Jane Curtis.
 
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her sister, Alvinia Allen.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and/or McLeod Hospice.
