Darrell Gene Smith, Sr., age 67, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Smith was born in Mullins, SC, a son of the late Asa Paul and Annie Bell Thompson Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda G. Smith.
Mr. Smith was a retired US Navy Veteran having proudly served his country.  His greatest joy was being a loving husband and father to his family.
Survivors include his son, Darrell Smith, Jr. of Conway; his sister, Barbara S. Howle (Bobby) of Latta, SC; his two brothers, Wayne Smith (Jean) of Lake View and Johnie G. Smith (Sally) of Blairsville, GA.
