Peggy Lane Campbell, 69, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016, at her residence.
Funeral services were  held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Born in Dillon County, SC, May 9, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Ellis Lane and Mildred Jackson Jones (Lee).
She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher, AWANA leader, and served in the nursery where she dedicated her life to taking care of children.  She was a loving wife, mother,  and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Kinnon Campbell of Dillon; children, Robin (Kathy) Campbell of Latta, Lisa (Neil) Carmichael of Hamer, Denny (Celeste) Campbell of Lake View, and Connie (Robert) Tallon of Dillon; sister, Linda Lane of Dillon; brothers, Charles Lane of Latta, and Jay Jones of Dillon; 12 grandchildren, Josh & Nicole Watts, Christopher Carmichael, Joseph Campbell, Leah Campbell (Chris) Gibbs, Andrew Campbell, Rob Tallon, IV, Katelyn Tallon, Kinna Campbell, Kyla Campbell, Hunter Holland and Bradley Rogers; uncle, John Henry Jackson (Elizabeth); mother-in-law, Azalee Campbell of Dillon.
