Brian Murchison McBride passed away at his home in Knoxville, Tennessee on March 13, 2016. Brian was born on May 26, 1980 in Charleston, SC to Bill McBride and Ethel Murchison Eckenstein.
Brian grew up in Cheraw, SC, and was a member of St David’s Church. He graduated from Cheraw High School in 1998. He attended Florence Darlington Technical College.
Brian is survived by his mother, Ethel (Jack) Eckenstein of Florence, SC; his father, Bill (Jacque) McBride of Murrells Inlet, SC; his brother Billy (Karen) McBride of Florence, SC; his twin sister, Kate McBride of Florence, SC; his daughters, Myriam and Maya McBride of Cosby, Tennessee; his nephew and niece, Wells and Collins McBride of Florence, SC; and other relatives and friends.
Brian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Colonel Retired Robert B. and Mary Murchison of Dillon; and paternal grandmother, Juel D. McClain of Charleston.
Funeral will be held at St David’s Church on Friday March 18, at 11 AM. Visitation will be held the hour before the service in the St David’s Chapel. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Dillon in the Murchison plot. Cooper Funeral Home in Dillon is assisting the family.
