The Lake View Wild Gators defeated the Mullins Auctioneers 22-0 in a 4-inning varsity baseball game played in Lake View on Friday, March 11.
The winning pitcher was Peyton Cox who pitched 2 innings and allowed no hits and walked no one. Duane Nichols also pitched 2 innings for Lake View in the game.
Josh Price for Lake View connected for 2 hits in 2 trips to the plate and picked up 4 rbi. De’Ante Bridgett was 1 for 2 with 2 rbi, and Will Arnette was 1 for 1 at the plate with 2 rbi.
Gerald was credited with the loss for the Auctioneers having pitched .1 inning.  He allowed 4 hits, 9 runs of which 8 were earned, and walked 5.
The Mullins team committed 6 errors while Lake View committed 1.
The Lake View Wild Gators will host the Latta Vikings in varsity baseball action today (Tuesday, March 15) at 5:30 p.m.
