Services for Gloria Faye Jackson will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Dillon Church of God with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum.  Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Faye went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 22, 2016.
Born in Dillon County, SC, June 17, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Carson Milton Jackson and Sara Jackson Bailey.  She was a member of the Dillon Church of God, and was retired from AT&T.  After retirement she served as Office Manager for Dr. Margaret Hoffmeyer in Florence.  She was a past president and life member of the AT&T Pioneers.  She loved gospel music and singing her entire life.  Ministering in many churches sharing the love of God in testimony and song.
Survivors include her sister, Judy Jackson Gardner (Mitchell) of Latta; nephews, Chris (Felicia) Gardner and Aaron Gardner, Tony (Misty) Gardner, Jackson Gardner and Kendall Bryant; close friend, Dr. Margaret Hoffmeyer; special friends who helped her during her illness; special canine friends, Dixie Lee and Cricket Jackson.
