The Pilot Club of Dillon met February 25, 2016 at 6:00 pm at the City of Dillon Fire Dept. The meeting was called to order by President Vicki Simerly.  The pledges to the US and SC flag were recited by all members. Invocation and prayer was given by Chaplain Millie Stanton.  Refreshments were provided by Johnnie Luehrs.
Secretary Melissa Moody read the minutes from the January meeting, and they were approved. The Treasurer’s report was presented by Frances Shillingburg. There were no additions.
New business presented was making a donation to Dillon School District 4 Spring Games. Chris Harris made the motion to approve; it was seconded by Melissa Moody.  Old business discussed was the club meeting at Thorne’s on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:45 pm. All members are invited to attend.
The program for the evening was given by Mrs. Valerie Miller. Mrs. Miller explained a few techniques on decorating and gave us ideas for our Mother/Son Dance on February 26, 2016. We appreciate Valerie and the information she presented. She was a huge help!
The Spaghetti Dinner & Bake Sale was discussed. Tickets have been distributed to members and monies need to be turned in.
Monies for St. Jude were collected and given to Treasurer Frances Shillingburg. A thank you card was read by Jamie Sue Stephens in memory of Mrs. Jessie Richardson.
