Services for Harry Gene Lewis will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Lewis, 68, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at his residence.
Born in Lumberton, NC, October 22, 1947, he was the son of the late Lacy Lewis and Gertrude Louise Harris Lewis.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Veronica Lewis of Dillon; sons, Harry Gene Lewis, Jr. (Mitsy Alford Lewis) of Dillon, and Lacy Joseph Lewis (India Taylor Lewis) of Laurel, Maryland; grandson, Harrison Conor Lewis; brothers, Donald (Rosemary) Lewis of Dillon, Allen (Linda) Lewis of Hamer, and Jeff (Sally) Lewis of Kissimmee, FL; sister, Mary Frances (Henry) McDowell of Dillon; a host of much loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Locklear; and brother, Milton Bryan Lewis.
