Rowland Springfest will be held Saturday, May 7, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. All activities will be held at the historic Rowland Depot and Museum.
There will be food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, and specialty vendors. Children’s activities will include jewelry making, free face painting, an inflatable large slide, obstacle course, and fun castle. There will be an art show and contest featuring art work from three local schools – Southside Elementary, Rowland Middle School, and South Robeson High School.
Entertainment will be provided by Calvin Pee, Mount Pelier Presbyterian Choir, Keith Stanley, the CYAA Hat Women, Carolina Rockers, Evita Sanders, and other praise teams. There will be a Town of Rowland Showcase – Everyone performs. Dancing for everyone. Don’t miss out on this special event.
This project received support from the North Carolina Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Cultural Resources and the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art; and the Town of Rowland, the Rowland Chamber of Commerce, South of the Border, and other local contributors.
