On May 30, 2016 the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary and robbery on Pittman Lane in Dillon, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
According to an incident report by deputies Troy Jones and Richard Lee the victims stated they were in the residence asleep and were awakened by three males inside the residence.
The suspects had forced their way into the residence and were asking where “is it”. There were two adults and a small child in the residence at the time of the incident. The suspects were armed and did assault the adults during the incident.
The suspects did take some property from the victims and fled the scene.
