Grady Edward “Eddie” Jones, 62, died Monday, June 7, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  Visitation was 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, April 2, 1954, he was the son of Haley Herring Jones and the late Grady Horace Jones.  He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, retired Farmer, member of Dillon Kiwanis Club, member of Dillon Booster Club and former Dillon County Farmer of the Year.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Dannette Jones of Dillon; mother, Haley Jones of Dillon; children, Jamie Jones Gardner (Ryan) of Bennettsville, John Jones (Deidra) of Dillon, Mark Jones (Hannah)  of Dillon, and Erin Jones (Sandy) of Dillon; brother, Jerry Jones of Dillon; sisters, Patricia Anderson of Timmonsville and Becky Brady of Marion; grandchildren, Dayne, Gunner, Jacob, and Gracen Gardner, Elijah, Micah, and Janah Jones, Abigail, and Daniel Jones.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Jones.
