Mrs. Jo-Eve Bailey Joye, 58, wife of James W. Joye, Jr., died Monday, June 27, 2016 at Carolinas Hospital System of Florence after an illness.
Mrs. Joye, a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker, was born January 2, 1958 in Fayetteville, NC, a daughter of the late Garrison C. “Jack” Bailey and the late Frances Owens Huggins.
Surviving Mrs. Joye in addition to her husband of the home are: her Children: Mark W. Joye and his wife Kim and their 5 children of Mullins, Tina D. Joye and her 3 children of Dillon, Staff Sgt. Jason L. Joye and his wife Charity and their 4 children of Ft. Rucker, AL and Jodie F. Joye and her 4 children of Temperance Hill; 2 brothers: James R. “Jimmy” Bailey of Mullins and Jackie Bailey and his wife, Harriett of Dillon; 3 special sisters-in-law: Brenda Lewis of Lake View, Mary Bailey of Nichols and Wanda Johnson of Green Sea; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, at Lake View Cemetery, with Rev. Haywood Proctor officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
Visitation was held Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
