The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) received permission from the S.C. Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) to close the boat ramp off Kentyre Road at US 301 due to safety concerns during bridge construction in the area.
The boat ramp will be temporarily closed from June 27 until approximately Aug. 31.
