Services for John Hugh Campbell will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Campbell, 78, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, he was the son of the late Daniel and Ellen Campbell.  He was employed by Dixiana Mills for 33 years.  He was a Nascar fan, and he attended Second Baptist Church as health permitted.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ray Campbell; daughter, Cindy Byrd of Longs; sons, Glenn Campbell of Floydale and Barney (Jennifer) Campbell of Latta; sister, Doris (Bill) Dudley of Dillon; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jim Ray.
Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his sister, Hazel Owens; son, Steven Campbell; and step-daughter, Betty King.
