Temple Moore Owen, 72, died August 14, 2015 at the Honorage Nursing Home in Florence. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta, SC.  Memorial services will be held privately at a later date.
Temple was born in Florence, SC, April 30, 1944, the daughter of Jessie L. and Margaret Pierce Moore. She was a retired Dispatcher with Carolina Transport. She was the widow of James R. Owen. Mrs. Owen attended Tabernacle United Methodist Church until her health failed.
Temple is survived by her daughter, Melissa Dew (Jimmy) of Latta, SC; brother, Jimmy Moore (Barbara) of Effingham, SC; sister, Loretta Riley of Pamplico, SC;  and grandchildren, Dakota Owen of Latta, SC and Nikita Owen of Silar City, NC. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Joyce Turner and a grandchild, Roxy Temple Turner.
