Mrs. Paulette Carter Jones died Friday, August 2, 2016, at her home in Lake View, SC after an illness.
 
A funeral service will be Monday, September 5, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Fork Baptist Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home.
 
Mrs. Jones was born in Dillon County, the daughter of the late Samuel Paul “Nick” and Lannie Mae Ivey Carter. She was a member of Fork Baptist Church.
 
Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Paula Danielle Jones; sisters, Wanda (Wayne) Bryant and Landis (Joseph) Clark; and a nephew, Lance Clark.  
 
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her brother, Sammy Carter and a sister, Bonnie Carter Rouse.
