Emory “Buck” Harold George, Jr., 61, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at his residence.
The service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016, at Burroughs & Cooper Funeral Home in Bennettsville.
Born March 5, 1955 in Dillon, SC he was a son of Emory Harold George, Sr. and Lena Chestnut George.  Buck was a graduate of Blenheim High School and attended Piney Grove Holiness Church in Sellers, SC.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and in years past racing motorcycles. He loved the folks at the NAPA store in Bennettsville and afternoon rides with his k-9 companion, Maggot. Buck was a member of the Blenheim Volunteer Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Denise George.
Surviving are his wife, Carmela Kitchin George of Blenheim; daughter, Cheyenne “Fred” George of Blenheim; parents, of Bennettsville; brothers, Eddie George of Bennettsville and Jason Chestnut of Bennettsville.
A funeral service will be held Friday, September 23, 2016 at Burroughs & Cooper Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Dillon. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the funeral home in Bennettsville.
