Christine Parker Harris, 84, died Monday, October 3, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon.
Mrs. Harris was born in Dillon, South Carolina, July 14, 1932, the daughter of the late Eddie Burr and Beulah Coates Parker. Christine retired from Dillon Manufacturng.  She was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church and widow of Junious Edward Harris.
Christine is survived by her daughter, Christina Marie Jackson, of the home; grandchildren, Gary New, Jr., Jeffrey New, Black Jackson; great -grandchildren, Madeline New, Gabriella New; brother, L.J. Parker of Goldsboro, NC.  She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth Edward Harris; daughter, Connie Faye Insco; brother, Eddie Parker, Jr., and sister, Edna Thompson.
