Nina Ammons Campbell, 75, died Friday October 21, 2016, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Second Baptist Church with burial in Pyerian Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 P.M. prior to service at the church.
Born in Dillon County, July 18, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Barfield and Gladys Thompson Barfield. She was the widow of the late John W. “Bud” Campbell.
Survivors include her daughters, Jeana Ammons (Kenneth Tyler) of Dillon, Catina Byrd (Tommy) of Latta, and Debra (Wayne) Larimore of Nichols; son, Robbie Ammons of Nichols; sisters, Shirley Ann Altizer of Virginia and Gaynell Barfield of Lake View; 10 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her brothers, Ernest Gene Barfield and William Perry Barfield; sisters, Pat Carter and Betty Ruth Barfield.
