Betty Jane Sellers Calcutt, 77, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at her home in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Betty graduated from Latta High School and attended Columbia College in South Carolina and Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida.
After retiring, Betty enjoyed sharing her life with family, friends and her dogs, Badger and Smokey, whom she adored.
Betty loved seeing evidence of her Creator’s hand in nature and shared his handiwork through her art.
Betty was passionate about music, animals and nature.  She expressed her love for these through art; and was a gifted well established artist.
Betty was predeceased by her husband, Stacy Calcutt.
Betty is survived by her brother, Wallace Duncan Sellers, Jr. (Claire) of Mullins and her Pat (Carlis) Causey of Dillon.  She is also survived by her niece, Susan (Michael) Medlin, Tricia (Brian) Johnson, Betty (Will) Altman and nephew, Duncan (Penny) Sellers.  There are three great-nieces and five great-nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate her life was held Sunday, October 30, 2016 at her home, in Cherry Grove.  Cooper Funeral Home of Dillon is in charge of arrangements.
