Services for Billy Dewayne Powers will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday at Sardis Baptist Church directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Wayne, 47, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Dillon, SC, May 3, 1969, he was the son of Billy C. Powers and Janice Marie Hyatt Powers.  
He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church and was employed by the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
Survivors include his son, Jackson Powers of Latta; parents, Billy and Janice Powers of Latta; sister, Jan (Scott) Penuel of Latta; brother, Adam (Rhonda) Powers of Latta; and four nephews, Nathanael, Alex, Jaden, and Slaydon.
Wayne was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tracy and Vera Powers; and his maternal grandparents, Marion and Nancy Hyatt.
