Services for Nettie Church Scott will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Scott, 91, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the Carolina’s Hospital System in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, September 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late James Jerome Church and Laler Scott Church.  She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, and was retired Supervisor at Craftex.
Survivors include her daughter, Delores (Lacy) Johnson of Dillon; son, Eddie R. (Margaret) Scott of Dillon; grandchildren, Sheila (Gene) Tanner, Resia (Kyle) Chavis, Alicia (Ledane) Lewis, Mark R. Scott, and Crystal (Richard) Fields; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband who died on June 30, 1982, Joseph Raymond Scott, Jr.
