Jimmy Sherwood Lane, Jr. passed away Monday December 5, 2016 at Mcleod Hospice House Florence.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Born May 6, 1966 in Dillon South Carolina, Jimmy was the son of Jimmy Lane Sr. and Sharon Lane. Jimmy worked in maintenance at South of the Border, and as an attendant at We Pump You Pay. Jimmy attended Refuge Holiness church in Dillon. He enjoyed fishing, Dillon Wildcat football and loved his family.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Hovie and Annie Bell Lane and Maternal Grandparents Evelyn “Maxine” Schneider and William Allen. 
Jimmy is survived by his parents, and brothers Roger Lane, Steven (Michele) Lane and Shawn (Candace) Lane , 7 nieces, a nephew, and one great niece, as well as special friend Virginia Johnson.
