A Hamer woman was killed in a car accident on December 22nd.
Sandra Nicole Hyatt, age 36, died from injuries sustained in the accident which occurred on N.C. 710 near Pembroke, NC, according to reports. Hyatt was a local cosmetologist.
There was a passenger in the vehicle, but no further information is known about that individual at press time.
Funeral services were held for Hyatt on Monday handled by Cooper Funeral Home of Dillon.
