The Latta Middle School Spelling Bee winners have been announced.
5th Grade Class Winners – Jalan Hulon, Lillian Baker, Adam Peacock, Eniya Frazier and Saron Bennett
6th Grade Class Winners – Zachary Peacock, Jaden Perritt, Breleigh Grant, Elayna Bailey and Amber Hayes
7th Grade Class Winners – Nicholas Hunsinger, Claudia Sandoval, Cassidi Skipper, Jy’Mori Jones and Trevor Yarborough
8th Grade Class Winners – Shayla Sanderson, Lea Khalil, Madison More, Rachel White and Austin Shepard
Class Winners received free ice cream from a local business.
Grade Level Winners – 5th: Jalan Hulon, 6th:  Zachary Peacock, 7th: Claudia Sandoval, 8th: Shayla Sanderson.
Grade Level Winners received a Junior Varsity and Varsity pass to any home sporting event
School Winner – Zachary Peacock – He will represent LMS at the Regional Spelling Bee at FMU on February 6th.  The winner will go on to compete in Washington, DC.
The School Winner received a $25 gift card compliments of Latta Schools Girl Talk Club.
