Bobbie Jean Hinson, 79, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at the Pruitt Health Dillon.
Graveside services were held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
Born in Dillon,SC, July 17, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Charles Percy Wellington and Emma Wellington.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Jean Hinson of Dillon; son, Bruce P. “Butch” Hinson, Jr. (Sherry) of Dillon; grandchildren, Misty (Tony) Gardner of Latta, Kristy Wise of Dillon, Paige Hinson (Brittney) of Florence, Curt Alford of Dillon, Ryan (Jessica) Alford of Florence, and Blake Hinson of Dillon; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Carl Wellington, Ronnie Wellington both of Florence, Clara Mae Lane of Marion, Emily Monahan, and Tony Wellington both of Dillon. Mrs. Hinson was preceded in death by her son, Terry Hinson.
