Charles Russ, 72, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m.. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Lake View Cemetery. Visitation was 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, April 21, 1944, he was the son of the late Steven Russ and Mamie Cook Russ. He was a member of Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include his wife, Linda L. Russ of Lake View; son & daughter-in-law, James & Crystal Davis; grandson, James Henry Davis; brothers, Leroy Russ of Fork, Wylie Russ of Mullins, Carlton Russ of Lake View; sisters, Frances Lawhon of Floyd Dale, Alice Meares of Fair Bluff, Helen Miller of Fork; many nieces and nephews.
