Services for Lillie Faye McDowell were held 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Piney Grove Church Cemetery. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Ms. McDowell, 60, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Dillon County, SC, August 27, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Cletus McDowell and Belle Cook McDowell.
Survivors include her sons, Stevie McDowell, and William Owens, Jr., both of Dillon; daughter, Crystal Strickland of Little Rock; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Ann McDowell Hyatt (Junior) of Dillon, and Kathleen (Ronald) McCall of Bennettsville; brothers, William McDowell, James McDowell, both of Dillon, and Wendall McDowell of Darlington; ex-husband, William Owens of Little Rock; special friend, Larry McCall.
Ms. McDowell was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Owens; son, Joey Owens; brother, Leroy McDowell.
