Services for Virginia Lee Roberts was held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Little Bless Holiness Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Ms. Roberts, 77, died Thursday, May 18, 2017 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, January 7, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Monroe Roberts and Luberta McDowell Roberts. She was a member of Little Bless Holiness Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Debra Hendrix of West Minister, and Tammie Johnson of Latta; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Lila Turner, Annie Alford, Emma Jean Dial, Ellen Bass, Kathy Tableau, Mack, Larry, Joseph, and Tracy Roberts. Ms. Roberts was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Doris Meggs, Betty Lou Sweat, Carolyn Cooper, Lewis and William Roberts.
