The Dillon Junior American Legion team returned home on Monday, June 12, with a 6-5 win over Marion.
Jared Darmon picked up the win for Dillon. He came in relief and pitched 3 innings and allowed no runs while striking out 3. Dillon’s John Rourke began the game and pitched 5 innings and allowed 2 earned runs while striking out 6.
Collin Hamilton led Dillon with 2 hits in 2 at-bats and also picked up 3 walks while Barnes Causey connected for 2 hits and scored 2 runs in 4 at-bats. Daniel Camp garnered 1 hit and scored a run plus picked up 3 walks in 2 at-bats. John Rourke garnered 2 rbi and 1 hit in 4 at-bats.
