The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a rash of vehicle break-ins that have occurred over the past two weeks, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
On January 9, 2018, the Sheriff’s Office responded to several vehicle break-ins that occurred overnight on Highway 57 near the Pleasant Grove area, and on January 16, 2018, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a rash of vehicle break-ins that occurred overnight on Highway 301 South in Latta and Carter Road in Sellers.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind the citizens to lock their vehicles and not leave items in plain view in the vehicle unlocked.
