On Sunday, November 18, 2018 the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to McNeil Street in Dillon in reference to a fight, according to Captain Cliff Arnette.
Upon arrival of law enforcement, deputies learned that there was a fight between some juveniles and the mother of one of the juveniles become involved and stabbed a juvenile that was fighting her daughter. The juvenile, age 14, was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Ramiah Ivey McClam, age 33, of Dillon was arrested and charged with attempted murder and is currently in custody at the Dillon County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
